THE NATIVE OF INDIANOLA, ATTENDED COLLEGE AT SIMPSON, IOWA AND CENTRAL, PLAYING GOLF TOO. WAS A PRO AT ECHO VALLEY IN DES MOINES AND AT LECLAIRE. NOW ON THE ROAD SELLING MEAT TO RESTAURANTS. HIS WIFE WORKS HERE. HAS ONE 5 YEAR OLD BOY. SHOT A 65 LAST WEEK. YES.. 65. DID NOT GET A PICTURE OF HIM AS I FORGOT TO TAKE MY CAMERA. SORRY. HE POINTED OUT THAT MAQUOKETA IS KNOWN STATE-WIDE FOR GREAT YOUNG TRAP SHOOTERS. THEN HE TALKED ABOUT CITY MATTERS, INCLUDING THE DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE PROJECT AND ANSWERED QUESTIONS ON OTHER ISSUES.

KEN WRIGHT REPORTED A SUCCESSFUL HIGHWAY CLEAN-UP LAST SATURDAY BY SEVERAL MEMBERS, INCLUDING KEN, BOB OSTERHAUS (WHO FELL DOWN INTO A DITCH, AND NOT HURT) AND JOHN GILROY, WHO HELPED BOB OUT OF THE DITCH. KEN REPORTED LOTS OF "GOODIES" PICKED UP AGAIN. WE DO THIS TWICE A YEAR.
